Golf Performance Chiropractic
Golf looks gentle and is anything but: the swing takes your spine from zero to maximal rotation in a quarter of a second, hundreds of times a round, always in the same direction. When your body can't produce that rotation in the right places, it borrows it from the wrong ones, and that's where golfer's back pain, hip pain, and elbow pain are born.
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) built the standard framework for understanding this body-swing connection, and Dr. Wolf holds both TPI Level 1 and TPI Medical Level 2 certifications. That means your assessment connects the dots between a physical limitation (say, a hip that won't internally rotate), the swing fault it forces (early extension), and the pain pattern it creates (low back, lead hip).
The outcome works in both directions: golfers who came in for pain routinely leave with more distance, because the same restrictions that hurt were also leaking power. Fix the turn, and both problems resolve together.
How it works here
TPI movement screen
The full TPI physical screen, rotation, hinge, pelvic control, shoulder motion, mapped against the swing characteristics your body is forcing. This is the same screen used at the highest levels of the game.
Treat the restriction
Adjustment, dry needling, and targeted mobility work aimed at the specific segments limiting your swing: commonly the mid-back, lead hip, and neck.
Train the new turn
Golf-specific movement drills that convert the new range into swing speed, then a loading plan so it survives a 36-hole weekend at altitude.
Golf Performance questions
TPI Level 1 certifies the body-swing assessment framework. Medical Level 2 is the clinical track, how to treat the injuries and physical limitations the screen finds. Dr. Wolf holds both, which is uncommon outside dedicated golf-performance clinics.
