Running Performance Chiropractic
Salt Lake runners have year-round terrain and year-round injuries to match. We find the link in your chain that fails under mileage, and rebuild it.

Running injuries are rarely mysterious. Somewhere in the chain, foot, ankle, calf, knee, hip, pelvis, one link can't handle its share of the load, so a neighbor picks up the slack until it complains. Runner's knee, IT band pain, shin splints, achilles and plantar issues: different names, same story.
The fix starts with finding the overloaded link and the underperforming one. Dr. Wolf combines gait analysis with strength and mobility testing to trace the compensation, then uses hands-on care, adjustment, dry needling, shockwave for the chronic stuff, to settle the irritated tissue while movement work rebuilds the weak link.
Just as important: we manage your training load through the process. Most running injuries don't need you to stop running. They need you to run differently for a while. Blanket rest usually just postpones the reinjury.

Objective data on how you actually run
Most offices guess. We measure. Runeasi wearable-sensor technology captures how your body handles the real forces of running, so your plan is guided by numbers, not hunches.
- Asymmetry: exactly how much load favors your left vs. right
- Stability: how well you control impact stride after stride
- Ground force: the true load going through each leg on landing
- A clear baseline to prove the fix, visit over visit
- Technology most chiropractic offices simply don't have
How we approach it
Trace the chain
Gait review plus strength and mobility testing, hip abductors, calf capacity, ankle range, pelvic control, to find where load is actually going versus where it should go. We use Runeasi motion technology to put objective numbers on it: asymmetry, instability, and ground-force data that most offices simply can't measure.
Settle and stimulate
Hands-on care for the irritated tissue: needling for guarded calves and glutes, shockwave for chronic tendons, joint work for stiff ankles and hips.
Rebuild under mileage
A strength progression targeted at your weak link, integrated with a modified running plan, so you keep fitness while the fix takes hold, then return to full volume on evidence, not hope.
What to expect
Bring your training history: weekly mileage, recent changes, shoes, goal race. The first visit ends with an honest answer to the runner's real question: "Can I keep running?" Usually yes, modified, and you'll know exactly what that means for the next two weeks.
Running Performance questions
Usually no. Most running injuries respond to modified load, shorter, slower, flatter, or re-distributed across the week, better than total rest. Bone stress injuries are the exception, and we screen for those and refer for imaging when the story fits.
